A Celebratory Dinner

Going out for dinner can be one of the most exciting times to dress up. It is a time to experiment with clothes, hairs and beauty and the best part is most of it does not sweat off like it does when clubbing. Dinner has a certain ambience and sophistication which is part of what makes it an 'occasion'. In this post, I went to the mulberry tree (near Sutton valence Kent). The food was good, and reasonably priced although the place lacked atmosphere and the staff were rude and inattentive. As a result I would not return. The celebration was in aid of handing in my masters thesis after a year of hard work. Most of you won't know I refer to my baby as 'Ickle Pickle'. The name suits him well as he is awfully cheeky, although he is not so Ickle. Ickle pickle is always, well nearly always wonderfully behaved when out. This occasion was no different. He has always been out to dinners since he was born. Achieving good behaviour is a mixture of discipline and distraction. I bring toys and books he can interact with. Between courses, as he has just started walking, I let him walk up and down the restaurant waving at other customers. This keeps babies active enough, entertained resulting in them not crying and getting bored and frustrated. I think everyone in the restaurant had a sense of broodiness after seeing the adorable one. Anyways, onto the fashion part;
Baby wears: Ralph Lauren shirt, waistcoat. M&S autograph jeans, shoes Clarks. --- I wear: mango dress (spring 2013), Tiffany heart bracelet, pandora charm bracelet and Italian hand made shoes
